- Labor: Demolition hours, Installation hours, Cleanup hours. Include travel time if the job site is far.

The Contingency Buffer
Add a 10-15% contingency line item for unforeseen conditions. Label it clearly: "Contingency for unforeseen site conditions (10%)." This protects you from eating costs when you discover unexpected issues behind walls or under floors.
