1. Use of Our Services

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Mutashim Mohsin (operating as the brand SmoothLedger). SmoothLedger provides financial document generation tools. You may use our services for lawful commercial purposes. You agree not to use the Services to generate fraudulent documents, conduct illegal activities, or distribute spam or malicious content via our email delivery features.

2. Accounts and Subscriptions

While basic features are free, SmoothLedger Pro requires a paid subscription.

• Billing: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
• Renewals: Pro subscriptions automatically renew at the end of your billing cycle. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard settings.

3. No Financial or Legal Advice

SmoothLedger does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, legality, and tax compliance of the invoices, payslips, and quotations you generate. SmoothLedger is not liable for disputes between you and your clients or employees.

4. User Content

You retain full ownership of all data you input into SmoothLedger (e.g., client details, logos, financial data). By using our cloud-save features, you grant us a secure license to host and process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

5. Limitation of Liability

All Services are provided "as is" without any warranties. In no event shall SmoothLedger be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruptions, arising from the use or inability to use our Services.
