Clear and transparent guidelines regarding subscriptions, cancellations, and refunds for SmoothLedger Pro.

1. Subscriptions and Cancellations

SmoothLedger Pro is billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account billing dashboard.

If you cancel your subscription, you will not be billed for the next cycle. You will continue to have full access to all Pro features until the end of your current paid billing period.

2. Refund Policy

We provide a robust, fully-functional free tier that allows users to thoroughly test our document generators before upgrading. Because of this "try before you buy" approach, all payments for SmoothLedger Pro are final and non-refundable.

We do not provide refunds or credits for partially used billing periods, forgotten cancellations, or accidental renewals. It is your responsibility to manage your subscription and cancel before your renewal date if you no longer wish to use the service.

3. Exceptions

Exceptions to this policy may be made at our sole discretion in cases of confirmed billing errors, duplicate charges, or if required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction (such as the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off period, where applicable).

4. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles all payment processing and manages approved refunds according to this policy.
